Presentation¶
DBeaver is free universal SQL client/database tool for developers and database administrators. DBeaver is able to connect to H2GIS database which is the one used.

- DBeaver is a free, universal SQL client that can connect to numerous types of databases-one of which is MySQL. I want to show you how to install and use DBeaver to connect to your remote MySQL.
- DBeaver (snap) won't let me export/import databases. dbeaver hot 51 Oracle: Can't download drivers after update to 7.0.1 hot 51 Reference to database and/or server name in 'KIOSK.sys.schemas' is not supported in this version of SQL Server hot 50.
Connect dBeaver to your database¶
DBeaver is a universal database management tool for everyone who needs to work with data in a professional way. With DBeaver you are able to manipulate with your data like in a regular spreadsheet, create analytical reports based on records from different data sources, export information in an appropriate format.
Note
Be sure that the geoserver is closed. It is not possible to connect dBeaver and GeoServer at the same time.
- Run dBeaver
- Add a new connection
- If you use a h2gis type databse please select ‘H2GIS embedded’
- Browse your database. By default it is in Geoserverdata_dir and the name is h2gisdb.mv.db
- Open it !
Use dBeaver¶
Now you can use the full potential of dBeaver and the h2gis database. You can explore, display and manage your database.
Many spatial processing are possible with H2GIS. Please see the H2GIS website.
Connect dBeaver to NoiseModelling libraries¶
You have to load the NoiseModelling library using the grab annotation at the beginning of its script as here.
