What is Lantus ® (insulin glargine injection) 100 Units/mL? Prescription Lantus is a long-acting insulin used to treat adults with type 2 diabetes and adults and pediatric patients (children 6 years and older) with type 1 diabetes for the control of high blood sugar. Do not use Lantus to treat diabetic ketoacidosis. Important Safety Information. Offer valid for one fill per month. To pay $99 per month, you must fill all your Sanofi Insulin prescriptions at the same time, together each month. Not valid for SOLIQUA 100/33 (insulin glargine and lixisenatide injection) 100 Units/mL and 33 mcg/mL. When using the Insulins Valyou Savings Card, prices are guaranteed for 12 consecutive monthly fills.

With a monthly savings card, BASAGLAR may help your eligible commercially insured patients get off to a good start and help keep the cost to as little as $5 per month.

By using the Basaglar Savings Card (“Card”), you attest that you meet the eligibility criteria, agree to and will comply with the terms and conditions described below:
Offer good until 12/31/2021 for up to 24 prescriptions. Patient must have commercial drug insurance with insurance provider coverage for BASAGLAR to pay as little as $5 for 5 BASAGLAR KwikPens (1 carton). Offer subject to a monthly cap of $150 and a separate $1800 maximum annual cap. Offer void where prohibited by law. Patient is responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or amounts exceeding monthly or annual caps. This offer is invalid for patients without commercial drug insurance or whose prescription claims for BASAGLAR are eligible to be reimbursed, in whole or in part, by any governmental program, including, without limitation, Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medigap, DoD, VA, TRICARE®/CHAMPUS, or any state patient or pharmaceutical assistance program. This offer is not valid for: Massachusetts residents if an ABrated generic equivalent is available; California residents if an FDAapproved therapeutic equivalent is available.

Certain drugs may affect glucose metabolism, requiring insulin dose adjustment and close monitoring of blood glucose. The signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia may be blunted when beta-blockers, clonidine, guanethidine, and reserpine are co-administered with BASAGLAR.
