If there's one thing people would've brawled over on Black Friday 2020, it would've been the Nintendo Switch.
Fortunately (at least from a public safety standpoint), most retailers' big holiday sales are taking place online this year. Instead of scrapping over a console between the end caps of a Walmart aisle at 3 a.m., you'll have to be one of the first to click a 'Place Your Order' button once deals go live.
That doesn't mean things won't get a little chancy, especially if resellers' checkout bots come into play again (like they did this past spring). But the good news is that you've got plenty of time to come up with a game plan: Nintendo is staggering its Black Friday deals throughout the week leading up to the annual shopping holiday starting Nov. 20.

At least so far, the company's new Switch system bundle is looking like the deal to beat. (That one went live at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and Kohl's on Nov. 22.) But Nintendo's Black Friday press release also hinted at restocks of both the special-edition Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch and Ring Fit Adventure (as well as digital deals exclusive to the Nintendo eShop), so keep your eyes peeled for even more savings as we head into Cyber Weekend.
